DaMarJ Started his music career at the age of 16, but has been singing all of his life. Winner of his high school competition "Westlake Idol" (playing off the real show American Idol), and cast member to many of his school musicals. At the age of 17 DaMarJ took his talent to the next level and auditioned for the real American idol, only to not make it past the first auditions, but that did not stop him. In Late 2008 DaMarJ Put his writing skills to work and released his first Project Galaxy Lover. The Album Consisted of ten songs all written by DaMarJ. He also Followed the Project with a music video to his single Crying Oh. His First Project is still avalible to public on Audio Life.
DaMarJ did not stop there in Late 2009 he teamed up with rapper and song write LaPret and became group member of Keen Starz. Keen Starz was a hip hop duo that first released Thing is Off, and then Dangerously Infatuated, which is still on sale on iTunes.

Now DaMarJ is working on his next project for 2011, called My Turn. "My Turn explains what the album is about. My turn to Love, hate, free, inspire, give, recive. It's my turn to do everything i feel i didn't get to do". DaMarJ Plans to release a mini reality show called My Turn that follow up to the release of the first Single.So stay tuned to see the shows and when the album and music video will release.
